What Would Happen If ...
Dear Friend,
What would happen if you went 365-straight
days without missing a day of exercise?
What would happen if you got started today (or
on January 1) and made a goal to do a certain
number of Hindu pushups or Hindu squats within
the year?
What would happen if you had a goal to
do a minute of exercise per day to get started,
and then, once that was easy you added more
time? What happen if you did this for an entire
year?
You know, there are members of the Furey Faithful
who train so hard every day you'd probably be
guilted into training just by seeing their example.
I have one man, for example, an officer in the USMC,
named Lt. Col. Robert Schutz, and he's on target to
do 100,000 Hindu squats for the entire year of 2005.
And get this, he makes no excuses, such as, "Well,
I'm stationed in Iraq, it's hot here. I'll just wait til
I get back home to do these Hindu squats."
Uh-uh. That's not his attitude. He plows through
whatever obstacle is in his path - and let me tell you,
most obstacles are in your own mind. When confronted
with someone who follows a daily regimen, however,
those obstacles have a fine way of disappearing.
Want to build superior mind power? Then make a goal
to perform the same task every single day, without fail,
for 365 days. At the end of the year, when you look back
and see how far you've come, I doubt seriously that'll you'll
feel that the "repetition" was dull or boring.
No, the repetition is what helps refine you and make you a
better person.
You've got a couple days to think about this idea. If it grabs
you, then begin with gusto on New Year's Day. Keep track of
your daily progress. And keep your one-year goal in view
at all times.
Assuming Lt. Col. Schutz makes his goal in the next couple
days - I'll be posting pictures of him on my website at
for all to see. Let me tell you,
the officer is a stud.
By the way, if you want to follow my international best-selling
program, Combat Conditioning - the program of choice for many
in the military, then run like a deer to the page that tells all about
it here.
Kick butt - take names,

Matt Furey
