Just read an email from a man who used a couple of my extraordinary programs to set some personal records. Here's what he had to say:
Matt,

A friend and I have run two team sprint adventure races (3-4 mile trail run, 2-3 mile canoe, 10-12 mile mountain bike trail). We ran one last summer and one yesterday. The one we did last summer happened before I discovered Combat conditioning so I got ready for the race with traditional conditioning - long slow distance (LSD) running and some gearing up on my bike.

We finished that race and I was spent and sore for at least 4 days.

I got Combat conditioning in October and went to work - quit lifting weights, quit the long runs and quit the way I used to think about working out.

When we signed up for a second adventure race, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to test how conditioned I was with your program.

In the last 6 months, I have not run farther than 150 yards (doing uphill sprints), I have not lifted one weight and I rode my bike once prior to the race.

We finished the race in a much better time than our first and today I do not have one sore muscle in my body. I felt strong throughout the race and was able to tackle long uphill climbs on my bike. I was a believer as soon as I started Combat conditioning, but it was great to be able to test myself and pass with flying colors. Thanks for everything.

P.S. I have gotten to the point where I can hold the bridge for 3 minutes taking only 7.5 breaths in that time - I love the way it clears my head and focuses my mind. Also, for those who doubt 5 second abs - with serious focus on Combat Abs I have taken off 10 pounds and 2 inches off my waist in the last 6 weeks without changing my diet or my workout pattern, except to make sure I get in my 5 second abs every day.
